Xi'an Technology Museum
Triangular Flip Kinetic
280*280 mm
This cutting-edge installation, located at the Xi'an Science and Technology Museum, is a monumental structure measuring approximately 10 meters in width and 40 meters in height. Designed to deliver a striking visual impact, it seamlessly integrates advanced technology with artistic innovation. The kinetic system features an impressive 310 sets of modules, working in unison to power a total of 4,960 flipping units, creating dynamic and captivating motion effects. At its base, a radar interaction device enhances visitor engagement, enabling real-tie responses to movement and touch.
This series is an interactive kinetic art device. This system transforms sculpture models into cubes, each containing an independently motor-driven mechanism that rotates the sculpture. Thousands of servo motors drive the movement of decorative elements, controlled by computer programs to achieve various 3D graphical effects. Combined with lighting, sound, and media, it delivers an immersive audio-visual experience to the audience. After years of optimization and upgrades, the system has advanced internationally.
